It’s time to check underlying toxic exposures that create conditions which may be exacerbating how you feel.

A toxic lifestyle can increase our risk of Fibromyalgia

We are electrical beings. There are many things in our world today that can deplete electricity.  Causes of depleted electricity can be linked to Prozac, Fluoride, and medications containing fluoride such as SSRI’s, toxic cosmetics containing aluminum, mercury and vaccines. Addictions can be a cause of depleted energy such as: smoking, excessive alcohol, a toxic fatty liver, which all deplete oxygen and energy.  Food choices that can steal our energy and disrupt our hormones are: GMO Pork, rBGH dairy, MSG, Aspartame, HFCS and the SAD diet which can all lead to increase risk for inflammation and other autoimmunity disorders. These also deplete our glutathione levels.  EMF’s can deplete our energy and disrupt our sleep patterns which continues to stress the mind and body. Check your exposures to 60 Hertz electrical fields, microwaves, ceiling fans, wi-fi, cell phone towers and more. And finally, deficiencies in Magnesium can steal our energy and oxygen-rich red blood cell count can be low.

The skin is stressed and toxic.

Fibromyalgia is a skin condition, trigger points are inflamed tissue that’s located just below the skin, and is generally especially sensitive to the touch. The pain symptoms of fibromyalgia are believed by many researchers to be related to the fascia of the body. In lay-mans terms the immune system within the skin is acting up-this involves the the capillaries and small blood vessels.

The amount of blood flow to the peripheral tissues (the skin) is substantially reduced.(1)

Fibromyalgia is no longer considered to be similar to arthritic condition. (a disease of the joints) If we were to take a step back -we could possibly connect the dots that cause the illness so we can move forward.

Our children are stressed and toxic.

Today our children from about age 7 to 10 years old are diagnosed with fibromyalgia. (2) If we check, it’s no surprise to find that these children can also have a toxic internal environment from a poor diet. Obesity plays a causative role in pain, inflammation,(3) and low energy levels. Secondly, children are prescribed more antibiotics, Ritalin and antidepressants in the last decade. These three medications decrease good gut microbiome and decrease quality of sleep. If we look at the side-effects from Ritalin, we may find decrease energy intake- while Prozac, or other antidepressants, can increase weight gain.(4)

What can we do?

*Take the first bite size step toward wellness and focus primarily on pure homemade vegetable juices. You can add in organic green apples as they are an excellent food for sufferers of fibromyalgia.

Fresh home made juices contain large amounts of enzymes that help break down inflammation, reduce pain, and supply the cells with energy.

*Purchase organic non-toxic skin-care products.

*Purchase not-toxic and fluoride-fee toothpaste and mouthwash.

*Try not to be on your computer or cell phone all day long. Children should never be given a cell phone before the age of 16.

*Coffee and caffeine deplete Magnesium in the body. Cashews and Kale are found to be magnesium rich.

* Eat anti-inflammatory foods such as organic Maca, ginger and turmeric root.

*“The more one-shot antioxidants you’ve got on board, the less your body needs to lean on its glutathione reserves. This happens when we eat more colorful, antioxidant-packed produce, such as organic strawberries, organic bell peppers and organic mangoes, all of which are particularly high in vitamin C. Choose only organic, as these have several hundreds of pesticides sprayed on them.

What depletes our glutathione levels can harm us. Stress being one, plus many other toxins such as pesticides, chemicals, sugar, chlorine, alcohol, fluoride, tobacco, caffeine, MSG, aspartame and more.” Dr Ruza, taken from ‘The Cure is in the Cause.’

*As always exercise is important because it brings more oxygen into the cells.

*Ask your doctor about weaning you or your child off of  Prozac or Ritalin if you have been taking it for longer than 6 months. Every drug has a side-effect. This is just a handful of examples that you can incorporate now.
